I'd like to see a way to view everyone's point total (or maybe just the top 25) on a single page -- like a rankings page. Word.

Maybe to the right of a person's name on the "my friends", "my foes" and "my recent visitors" list you could have what their current rating for you is, since viewing the history log thing is confusing.

Allow us to be more creative with our "birth date." I like the photo adding format. What can't this site do? A while ago, I was hungry, then I came to this site and I had eaten a cheeseburger!

Maybe you could do something that would allow me to have 573 badges. Then I could leave these chump Brownies and zoom to Girl Scout level where I could sell treats at the Safeway doors screaming "last day for cookies!" at all the moms looking to champ out that final ascent into the obese.

I know that this would big a bit of a bigger project, probably for later on in MC, but something like the www.last.fm thing where users could have a feed from their media player to their MC profile would be sweet.

I agree Jaysix, that would be awesome. We'll have to see where this takes us. The licensing fees are pretty expensive for streaming...and if we were to host the files, the bandwidth usage would be out of control.

But who knows, it really depends on if this site is a success whenever it is finally ready for a full-scale public release.

Oh, I didn't mean to stream the actual music, just stream information about what they're listening to. (i.e., you could go to someone's page and it would say what they're listening to right now and have a history of everything they've listened to.)

oh...that actually might be do-able. I will have to take a look at the last.fm audioscrobbler API, but I do believe they allow for RSS feeds, which could mean that we could eventually allow people to display something like that.

But, at the moment that would be a pretty low priority.

correction: feeding info directly from the player would be difficult. We don't have the hardware for it. When last.fm was audioscrobbler, they were plagued with issues because they were overloaded with incoming data and their servers couldn't handle it.

However, as I say below...I think it might be at least possible for people to tie their last.fm profile to their profile here.

We have also toyed with the idea of letting people create a playlist in their media player and allowing them to upload it to create a mix. But that is something we won't pursue for quite awhile.
