Obligatory update.

I have to make a post about this. The obnoxious flicker AND disappearing 'stuff' bar in FF 1.07 is officially fixed. Although this is a confirmed error in the Gecko (FF) browser itself, we finally stumbled across a coding fix that seems to correct the problem. This is a monumental day for all mankind.

When are we gonna start seeing some band photos and icon sets? That stuff will be sweet.

band photos might be a bit...we have some fundamental problems to work out before we decide to add in more frills...

mainly, in its current form, the database only allows tracks to belong to 1 album, and albums to only belong to one artist...what this means is that you run into troubles with soundtracks/various artists/etc...and also, if a song appears on multiple albums, they are stored as two separate songs, which throws off data (mixtape usage, etc)...

anyway, fixing this to apply to more cases isn't as easy as it sounds when it comes to user interface design and everything else...

anyway, short nerd-less version: we'll get to it =D

I'm pretty sure Last.FM has the hierarchy set as Artist > Track > Album rather than Artist > Album > Track, and actually I'm not even sure if they attach the albums to the tracks at all, so they don't get the problems with tracks being on more than one album.

Yeah, on Last.FM sometimes the tracks aren't associated with albums at all. There's a little section of their pages for the albums the track is on...
