description:
A lot of songs that I liked and wanted to share with my special friend. I tried my hardest to ensure that very few had hidden romantic meanings, as that had been a fault of mine in previous mixed CDs. So few thus are 'loaded' with hints of a romantic nature that the whole CD is thus UNloaded.

| 1 | The Beach Boys : Wouldn't It Be Nice |
|
I went with the cheesiest, spunkiest start I could for this one. It does perhaps cross the threshold of loaded/unloaded but hopefully doesn't get you thinking too hard. SHOW MORE

| 2 | New Radicals : You Get What You Give |
|
A nice journey back to middle school. It's also catchy as all get-out and has no deep underlying meanings for us. Thank goodness. SHOW MORE

| 3 | James Brown : Papa's Got a Brand New Bag |

This makes me want to have a band follow me around all the time and cue the trumpets whenever I do something kind of cool. And the horns. Maybe a little percussion, too.

| 4 | Colin Hay : Freedom Calling |
|
We have an obligatory Colin Hay requirement on most exchanged CD's. This one has bagpipes and I am just barely part Scottish enough for my Mom to cry at bagpipes. Twas a no-brainer. SHOW MORE

| 5 | Snow Patrol : Chasing Cars |

This one was a tad loaded...allusions to "those three words" and whatnot, along with the prospect of just laying there. But it was too pretty to leave off.

| 6 | Modern English : I Melt With You |
|
Just fun enough to overcome the fact that it came after a song urging someone to lay there "and just forget the world", this one actually suggests stopping the world. Continuity, I like it. SHOW MORE

Probably the most beautiful song I've found recently. I just purchased the EP of it online and the proceeds go to Katrina relief. I sometimes listen to it on repeat. SHOW MORE

| 8 | Mike Tarantino : Wienermobile Girl |

This was downloaded along with many other single songs from a mix someone put together of songs from the TV show Grey's Anatomy. It's silly and fun but I could find almost nothing about the artist, nor was it featured as being on an album. SHOW MORE
