My sophomore year of college, my roommate/best friend got a radio show on the student radio station. Unfortunately, when you first start out, they give you the shit times, and she had a 5am-8am slot. It was a cold winter that year, and every Tuesday I'd hear her stumble out of the room at 4:30 and start walking to the radio station..and around 5 I'd turn on the radio and listen. We were really into CocoRosie at the time, and this song reminds me of those early, cold mornings lying in the dark thankful I didn't have to wake up and walk across campus. And that was a great year. So it reminds me of being happy.
