Vera Lynn lived in Finchley, my home town for a very long time and my dad was her postman in the fifties. This has nothing to do with anything but I mention it anyway. I thought my mix was eclectic. Love the use of the really old stuff, and fascinated to see a couple of other ancient British artists in Dickie valentine and Acker Bilk, both favorites of my Dad. I knew Bilk was known here because of 'Stranger On The Shore' but Dickie VAlentine wasn't even that big in the UK so I am suprised to see him here. Great mixtape
