This is my favorite mix I have ever made. It is basically the play list of the last radio show I did in college. Lots of my favorite bands. The flow is great. But mostly it is nostalgic fun for me. A reminder of who I was at that time.

I know he wasn't really President, but . . .
This is in honor of his hunting accident. The one where he shot his best friend, Harry M. Whittington in the freakin' face.
My other title for this was
Cheney's Got A Gun (but it only works if you sing it to the tune of Janie's Got A Gun by Aerosmith.)

A selection of songs that represent a very small part of what black musicians have contributed to the musical world. I tried to include several genres, but purposely left out jazz, hip hop and reggae. These should have mix contests of their own.

This is a week long festival of punk, post-punk, rock, post rock, whatever. The venue is a sort of mythical plain where everybody attends, but you feel like you they are playing just for you. The sound is perfect, the stage is close and you can see the individual drops of sweat rolling off Iggy's aging (but still ripped) physic. All the original members are able to be there and are at the top of their game. All the bands play full sets, this mix is a the best song each band played. The entire festival is MCed by the ghost of Stiv Baters.

I have this friend who I love to make mixes for. They are always appreciated and I always get one in return. A great relationship. The only problem is that this person is VERY into lyrics and seems to think that I put some sort of meaning into mixes, when all I mean to do is give them good music to listen too. So too make a point I gave them a mix with almost no vocals at all. Instrumental my dear Watson. Oh I like that, I will have to title my next instrumental mix that.
