I like really obscure christian bands. Hillsong, desperation, mewithoutYou, Shawn Mcdonald, Showbread...maybe even copeland I'm not sure. Maybe I should be more mainstream, but I feel like I'd be conforming.

I want him to like this mix so badly. Some of the songs kind of betray my hidden feelings for him though, because I'm completely in love with him but don't have a chance in the world. Anyway, I had fun making it and that's all that matters.

This guy I'm in love with but doesn't know it asked me to make him a mix today. So I did. But he's going away on a missions trip for my church in 3 days so he won't get it for a while. It's a lot of veiled love. Like there's God love and You love. Kind of hard to explain. I'd post it but it's not something I'm very proud of. Except the introduction songs are wicked. Like the beats lead in to each other and it's fab.

I totally feel you. I really wish I was young in the 60's/70's sometime. All the concerts I would've gone too, all the bands I would've offered myself as a groupie... sigh.

I'm not sure that I've got it in me. And on top of that i just switched my iPod with my friend for two days so it's difficult to draw from memory.
I'm going to try to make something a little less TEENAGER. A little less modern. But I've never really been ino anything older than like The Beatles and Nirvana. EHHHH

Well, it sounded like a fun day altogether, I must say. :) I usually stay at home and sulk as well. Actually my birthdays are more dull than other what-to-do days. Weird, I'm telling you. But luckily, for the past two years, I've been given books as presents, so I try not to sulk and instead swallow the books in one day, so it feels like a nice birthday after all.

I hung out with some friends. Went shopping which i hated. Got zero presents on my birthday and went to church which I LOVE. A couple of days later, i got some cash and stuff. And wicked sunburn. :[ But at least this birthday I actually left the house. Usually I stay in and sulk.
