My favourite highschool teacher died a few years ago. He went in for minor surgery and died on the operating table. That upset me, but it's weird because you're not really close to them.
I don't know what else to say. It's just fucked that you didn't get to send him that letter. You should put it on his grave sometime when you go home.

My favourite teacher of all time was my year 3 and 5 teacher in primary school. He hands out leaflets for the liberal party on election days. That hurt me bad. I'm not trying to compare that with your teacher passing. It just reminded me of Mr. Lehuray and how disappointed i was.

No, I've got a vast variety of all sorts of things. They should last me a good two more weeks. I have really been into trying different soups lately.

I found out my 6th grade teacher died this weekend. He had been battling cancer for a while, but he was only 51. He was my neighbor growing up also. He was my favorite of all-time, and the thing that really bums him out was that I just got his address this weekend so I could send him a letter letting him know how much he meant to me growing up. Its a real bummer. My mom said like half the town showed up to his funeral so thats nice, i guess.

Right, i guess i'll stay away from them then. I don't really get into horror films. Their predictable structure bores me and they never scare me. Argento films freak me out though. Some of the stuff he does is fuckin scary.

I dont understand how im surviving really. Luckily, I had the foresight to stock up on food when I had money, so Im fine there. Hopefully my boss will get back into town with a shit ton of stuff for me to do. Its stressful though.

Also, I cant think of a good Japanese horror movie. I think that they are mostly crap. They always have a good concept or scene in them but as a whole movie they just dont work. Plus they tend to throw a fourth act onto the end which always makes the last 30 min. so so boring.

Im doing ok. Still havent found another job, but Im getting hooked up with an editing gig pretty soon, so that should help. All this free time with no money is driving me nuts though. Ive been just editing whatever i can get my hands on at home.

A friend who is directing a horror movie im gonna be working on in February let me borrow some Japanese horror films. I usually hate Japanese horror films but we'll see.
