It's a Swedish film about a world famous conductor who goes back to his home town village when his heart begins to die on him. He opens the minds of the village folk and changes their lives and *SHOCK* they begin to change his.

yeah he sure was skinny. Do you like the film? If i can't remember whether i've seen the whole thing or not, that tells me it's not worth remembering. But then again maybe i was drunk. I never know for sure.
I just went to see As It Is In Heaven at the cinema, which was fully booked out with seniors. (I went to 10:15am session, hoping to be the only one there) I had commentary in my ear all the way through it. "Oh Lord he's having a heart attack!", "Oww she's a pretty girl". That sort of thing.
Anyway, I recommend you stay away from it. Ignore the hype. Every cliche in that film took a bite out of my soul.

Yeah. Thats the one. I went to one of te bars they go to in the movie last night and it was a pretty cool place. It's called the Dresden. Yeah, Vince Vaughn was only 23 in that movie and he is skinnier than shit.

yeah i'm with you on at. That's why i'm such a huge fan of big trouble in little china. I think he fuckin nailed it. He had just the right amount of everything. And i liked how laid back it all was. Like he just wanted to have fun with it.

Oh yeah! I did enjoy big trouble in little China. Quite a lot.
I'm a big fan of b-type movies. Generally if they at least have an imaginative concept and a few fresh ideas, I'm hppy. I agree about the thing, but just the idea of what the creature was being presented as really kept me goin the whole movie. Most Carpenter movies are like this. Assault on Precinct 13 is basically the original Night of the Living Dead or Rio Bravo but with Gangs instead. But THEY LIVE is awesome

oh man, i've really got to start reading over my messages from a more objective view before i post them.
I meant I've seen a few of his films (finished them all) but didn't bother to see any others because i wasn't all that impressed.
The special effects were really cool, even now they still look great. hat wasn't my problem with The Thing. I think that film had a lot of potential and fell short. It really pisses me off/upsets me when that happens.
