i bought grinderman today.
I've only heard the first 3 songs as i listened to it while i was driving home. It's got a real hard edge to it that i wasn't expecting. it reminds me of a dingy pub for some reason. No pussy blues is pretty darn funny.

It's a tribute night at a lovely club/restaurant, which has the BEST LAMPS I'VE EVER SEEN.
From what i understand, bands are playing bowie songs. i don't know any of the bands, but there seems to be a bit of a fuss about a JEFF DUFF. I just want to get drunk, sing along to bowie classics and carve it up on the dance floor (dressed glam rock style if i can manage it)
i reckon they'll only play rebel rebel or diamond dogs from the diamond dogs album. they have to cater to the masses
