And the same to you. I'll have a quiet weekend, I'm resting up for next week's Mogwai concert. :-)

Pagan bonfires and fireworks sound like fun. For what it is worth, Happy October 31st. I'd really like to watch Shaun of the Dead tonight, but that may not work out.

That's cool. I never really found the time to explore the record stores back when I lived in Denver. Had so much else on my mind then.
We don't celebrate Halloween (except merchants are trying to introduce it to sell more crap) though we have All Hallows Eve as a time to honor the dead. In the spring, there's a tradition for kids to dress as witches and go from door to door and ask for candy, much like trick or treating. So it's quite similar I suppose, though the background is different (it's a holiday when witches are scared off by large bonfires and fireworks, and also a celebration of spring). Pagan stuff. :)

I found my copy of Bela Lugosi's Dead on vinyl in Denver, near the Capital. I thought you might like to know that. Does Sweden have Halloween, or something akin to it? Happy Wednesday!

I just posted my mix for your contest idea. Thought I'd let you know. I watched Superbad, the other night, and spent the rest of the night thinking about high school and junior high, and sending myself two tapes from my future. I posted the first one today, for junior high (1987). I'll have to get psyched up to compile the second mix, intended for graduation day (1993).

Thanks!
I've come to that age when it's a compliment whenever someone thinks I'm younger than I am. :D

It didn't dawn on me that you're older than me until you posted Exile on Main St.
Congrats on first place!

I wonder if the system adds those spaces automatically to avoid hotlinking and stuff? Anyway, I copied and pasted the address and removed the space, no problem.

(second try, due to bad link - spaces were added???)
Your contest mix reminded me of my nephew's shirt that he wore to his farewell dinner, last Friday. Here's the image - http://i68.photobucket. com/albums/i22/tomaidh_mor/lemmy.jpg
Have a great weekend.

Cool, well, I've signed up now, waiting for authorization. Not sure what to expect or if it's something for me at all, but I'll check it out.

Thanks for you comment. Here, FTOTZ and last.fm are my favorite haunts. There is an MTC group at last.fm at http://www.last.fm/g roup/the+rejected+mtc+experience. (the period at the end, for whatever reason, is part of the address)
I'm derhay at last.fm too. Happy mixing.
