I think you will have the best luck on Amazon, but you might find it in local stores. Mick Harvey is Australian, but I know that does not necessarily count for anything. One of my favorite artists, Neal Casal, is Californian, but try finding any of his albums here! If you can't get hold of any Crime & The City Solution albums, there is always sendspace!

I'd start off with Room of Lights. I think all the Crime & The City Solution albums are great with the possible exception of the live one! Room of Lights is available on Amazon

I like Crime And The City Solution a lot. That was pretty much the cover name for Mick Harvey of Birthday Party and Bad Seeds fame. The last Crime And The City Solution album was just him I think!

I have everything I used on the Cave mix except the Die Haut track, and I ordered that album yesterday. I had a bootleg of it in England but I found it on Amazon! As soon as I have that I will sendspace the thing and let you know.

I saw the Birthday Party once, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds many many times, as well as associated acts like Barry Adamson, Einstende Neubaten, Crime & The City Solution, etc etc. I like the people Nick Cave listened to to get to where he wants to be mujsically, so I guess it was inevitable I would loike him. If you have never heard 'The Carny', you are in for a treat!

There are a lot of bastard world leaders about. I am glad you got rid of yours. I remember when we got rid of Thatcher in the UK, some people actually had street parties. By the way, there is an excellent anti Thatcher song by Elvis Costello called 'Tramp The Dirt Down'
