No, I still don't have my license because I have bad eyesight and I had to get glasses. Which really sucks because I don't have insurance so they cost a ton. I get them tomorrow, then I can get my permit, after which I have to wait something like 6 months before I can actually get a driver's license.

It's all so complicated and stupid... I hate living in a city where you have to drive!

The DMV is supposed to be the place where you get licensed to drive, register your car so you can drive it legally, etc... but it turns out that it's really a hole of incompetence where you have to wait for 4 hours to get anything done! It's a commodity that we Americans resent but have to live with. It's really not fun.

Anyway, I found the phone. :P I should be out doing something in no time... hopefully... aahhhh!

What's DMV? Aww, I know what you mean, boredom is the worst... Well, get out there and do something then! If you can't reach 'em by cell, then send word by carrier pigeon or mail, no? You can do it!

It's been awful, to tell the truth! Haha. Really though, I suppose it doesn't sound that bad, lazing around doing nothing but I'm desperate to get out and enjoy the world but I can't find my cell phone and even if I could I couldn't reach anybody... *whew* Not to mention I had to go to the DMV today, which is a kind of torture, IMO. But... at least... something! Right? :P

Hey Meg, long time no see! School opens in an hour after two weeks of nothing but a class trip to Rome and a week of Easter holidays. Life's been good, I guess.

We don't play anything yet! I've only got a drummer and a bassist and neither of them are very good. I'm rhythm guitar and lead vocals but I write all the songs. I feel like I need another songwriter though because none of the other members of my band really know how to play music!

I can't remember the last time I was this excited about an event. In my life. HONEST. Portishead equals so much emotion and love. Tegan and Sara is not going to happen, though, because I will be in Rome that week with my class mates. Too bad.

Sounds cool with the Redwalls. I'm sure there will be other interesting acts in those coming months. Going to so many concerts can be really expensive, though. The tickets for Portishead go for around 72 bucks, and I'll buy my Menomena ticket on the same day, so my ass is very broke next month.

Boo party. I can't really imagine what I'd do without my iTunes - I only own about 80 albums, the rest is filed exclusively on my laptop.

I thought about making an Autumn mix actually, but I have a huge assignment to turn in before we hit vacation(!) next week.

I don't know if I will be... the computers with all of my music on them aren't working. I can't do much without the music, so as soon as I get a new cord for my laptop I should be back and mixtaping regularly.
