I read in the LA Times today that Ian Wallace died. It mentioned all the great and the good he played drums for, but paid scant regard to his first band, King Crimson. Wallace was in the first recording version of the band, along with Fripp, Giles, MacDonald and Lake. They cut the truly original "Court of The Crimson King" and most of the almost as good "In The Wake Of Poseidon." So much great stuff grew from those seeds. Rest easy Mr W.

Yeah, one of my friends posted a Myspace bulletin about that and that was how I heard. I'll own up and admit I don't own any King Crimson albums, but he was an amazingly talented drummer and they were great as a band.
