You're finally legal! Huzzah! We all know you've been boozing since you were 13, but don't worry, we'll keep quiet.

Now, get off the damn computer and go hit up the bars.

So phenomenally disappointed in this. Picked up this LP at the record store last night.. I'll be ebaying it now, unless anyone wants to buy it from me for $15 ppd.

I haven't heard it yet, but kind of expected as much...

the first one was alright, it had some good songs...but blueprint needs to learn that repeating the same verse 3 times is not entertaining when you are dealing with primarily vocal songs (don't get me wrong, RJ makes good music, but the repetition during the LONG ass verses of music/lyrics gets old quick)

Yeah, I was super disappointed. Especially for something that RJ was involved in, and considering that everything I've heard of Blueprint from RJ's albums is fucking fantastic I expected a lot more. There are some REALLY shitty songs on this album. The tracks are good, RJ does his job there, but the vocals just blow the whole thing.

I love Blueprint, but if it weren't for RJ this album would have bombed COMPLETELY. RJ really did do decently, but Blueprint is going to seriously seriously fuck up at any moment now. Even the intro was awful. What the shits was that? You have a chance to do something great and you fill up the waves with 20 seconds of noise?

Blueprint is just too repetitive, you know, like using lines from previous albums. "1 shot, 2 shot". I don't think they'll put out another album. Or atleast I hope not. If they do I hope they make something incredible and then stop. Blueprint does well on his own and well RJ has always been able to hold his own.

I must say, I did love 'keep it hot for daddy' and I did see them live together twice and I'd see them again tomorrow if I could.

i get bored listening to his stuff. i've tried to like it, but it's just missing something for me. it doesn't move me, at all. and i'm with you on not liking people over his stuff... i thought maybe that would add something, but no. i feel the same way about prefuse-73.

by the way, have you all heard Diverse's album "One A.M"? Most of the production is handled by rjd2 and prefuse-73, with one beat by madlib. and i hate to say, but that song is the only one i keep going back to.

oh well. i'm glad that you all like him. seriously.

rj is sometimes too predictable and clean cut for me. it's okay for background music, when you don't have to think about it. but i'm with paryen - i find it boring.
