I posted this in the "The Collective" section, but I figured I'd move it here where there are less topics so it can stay up top for all the newbs and n00bs.
Someone requested that I explain how to use sendspace to another user so they could upload a mix. I figured it would be most beneficial to all to do this in the forums, so here goes:
1. Put all of the songs on your mix into one folder on your hard drive, with the name of the mix as the name of the folder.
***PLEASE make sure you rename all of the files with the track number (leading 0 if single digit), artist and song name so it stays in order, like so (or similar): 01 Artist - Song.mp3***
2. Use winzip (www.winzip.com) or Winrar (rarlabs.com) to compress the folder. If you have either of these installed you should be able to simply right-click the folder and choose "add to mixname.zip". This will create a .zip file with your mix in it.
3. Go to www.sendspace.com and upload your mix. This part should be pretty self-explanatory.. just click browse, find your mix, check the checkbox, and click upload.
4. When the mix is uploaded, sendspace will give you a link. Copy this link and paste it in the comments of your mix, or wherever you want to put it.
