I'm kind of a nerd about this stuff, but I don't skip songs on albums.
and I'd say there about 100 albums I cycle through on a regular basis (ie, listen to 2-3 times a month), not counting new albums that may or may not make into the long term rotation.

I can't skip songs on anything, it's just something I don't do. I only listen to whole albums, 'cause I'm totally obsessive about songs being much more relevant and important in the context of an album/ep/whatever. Same reason I'm really obsessive about tracklisting just right in a mix.
Yeah.
Yeah.

I'm the same way with skipping; I don't. It annoys me so much when people skip songs. It's part of the album! Would you fast forward the ten minutes of a movie you don't like? No, 'cause it's part of the movie.
That being said, Ben Folds, "Rockin' the Suburbs" I listen to a lot. Also Red, "End of Silence."

That's why i try to avoid including single songs from highly conceptual albums on my mixes.
But occasionally, i just can't resist.

True, but I still consider a mix a complete album. That's why the order of songs can't be haphazard, but has to be very well thought out. So even with a mix, I won't skip tracks. And because a mix is something of an album of its own, I'm okay with the single songs.

i don't like skipping songs but sometimes if i'm listening to a cd i'll start it on the one i like best. i have never ever gotten bored of:
marianne faithfull - broken english
kate bush - never for ever
suicide - ghost riders
and i'm sure there are a few more but those are the ones that come to mind first. i love suicide. i can listen to them for hours. trouble is, it's so intense to listen to them i can't get anything done. i just lie there and listen.

I don't think I have an album I don't skip songs on. Sometimes Up the Bracket by the Libertines does it but...
The only one I can think of is:
Kings of Leon - Youth and Young Manhood
And mix CDs I make myself.

i dont skip any songs on any albums, but....
the CD that i can listen to infinite times on repeat is In the Aeroplane Over the Sea by Neutral Milk Hotel. It's partly a personal issue (that CD got me through the toughest time of my life) but its mostly just cos it happens to be one of the greates albums of all time.

I don't usually skip songs, but that's not because I dislike it. It's usually just because I'm usually doing other stuff while listening to music and I do'nt like opening WinAmp every 10 minutes to change songs.
The only CD I can think of off the top of my head that I don't like skipping songs on is Diamond Dogs by David Bowie, because it's such a moody CD.
