Thank you for this. I love it when you write great accounts of stuff on your mixes. The music really does become the soundtrack for your words.
I always enjoyed Holland. Amsterdam is wonderful, and Rotterdam is seedily great. Imagine Amstterdam with all the red light district, grass bars etc intact, but with none of the cultural bits. One memory of Rotterdam is of wandering around stoned trying to find something to eat and asking puzzled passers by what kind of food they served in this one restaurant. Someone pointed up at a rather large plastic egg positioned
over the door and the sign above it which said 'Omletten'. He shrugged his shoulders, muttered something about the English not knowing how to smoke, and moved on. I also managed to enter the only place in the red light district which wasn't a brothel or a strip club. I did end up with some nice cheese though!

Its ok. I'm on a diet too. The winter made me fat, but oatmeal is delicious! Put some peanut butter and a handful of honey bunches of oats in it and you will be so happy.
