i'm always looking for things to do myself... and i don't even own my own home.
i built my studio monitor/speaker stands, my studio workspace/desk/thing and it took hours and hours and paint and sand and...... and then i see in a catalog i could have bought something similar for 100 bucks. and for a second i think-- hmm, maybe i should have saved all of that time...
but then i shrug it off because it's the whole process of doing it that fulfills something inside me as well.
