Actually, I don't have any crushes on anyone at the moment. :( It's kind of sad, really. I used to have stupid crushes every other day -- most of them on gay guys. Haha. That's a bad habit of mine... I fall for gay guys and straight girls. Only person I have a ridiculous crush on right now is Zooey Deschanel, and Regina Spektor... but they don't really count.

I think it's because the only people I really see right now are my friends, and I don't have crushes on my friends. But maybe I'll get one soon. I don't feel like myself unless I've got a ridiculous crush.

I think i've got another 4 weeks of holidays left. I'm just working as much as possible and trying to pay off my debt. Other than that I'm doing what i do every holidays: Getting drunk with friends, going to gigs, watching movies, going to the gym, working, sleeping.... that's basically it. I LOVE HOLIDAYS

hahaha, i'd like to think that he listened to the tape so much because of me... but then again, it was a pretty sweet mix. haha ;)

as for turntables, a couple good companies to look into are Numark and Stanton. i prefer stanton, but they're both fantastic and relatively affordable.

thanks for the kind words! :) and ohh yeaaah, the mix went over really well with the boy; he totally fell in love with portishead (how could he not, really?)-- although, i later found out his roommates were all sick of the mix because he played it so often!

ps: i totally love that you buy vinyl even without a turntable--i did that for so long. i will tell you, when you finally do get one, it will be the best day ever.

I don't think there's a search thing but if you go into my mix there will be mixes on the right hand side that have a similar theme. You can try and find them through there. It's a bit tricky I know.

There was a point where I loved the shins. I still do, but I don't listen to them much anymore. I got bored with them I guess. Phantom Limb is good, yeah I've heard their new album.
