description:
my roommate -- and best friend -- lani (lanilou - she's new here), has been bugging me to make her a mix. i've been in the process of creating it for quite some time, so imagine my delight when i saw the new contest. because it's more nostalgic and random than most mixes on here, i'm not sure if it's 'contest appropriate' but what the hell, i'm putting it up here anyway.
i've known lani since we ran track together in middle school. she has been my confidant, my best friend, and my partner in crime ever since. we spend many nights drinking, talking about music, and pondering the inner-workings of society and mankind. basically, we act like complete idiots and would probably drive anyone other than ourselves (and our other roommate, tyler) absolutely crazy. she's been there for me through the worst and the best of times. every night is an adventure here on north kerby avenue. we've both been through a pretty nasty year (jail, separation, rehab, nervous breakdowns, anyone?), and there's no place i'd rather be than living in this very house with my two favorite people. i'm not a very touchy-feely-let's-talk-about-emotions kind of person, so i will communicate my undying love via music. here goes:
