In recent news, the French have collectively decided that there is no longer a use for the seemingly harmless semi-colon. Or point-virgule, en francais. That the question should even be raised has caused great annoyance deep within my heart, soul and, indeed, nervous system as the semi-colon is the sole property of the English language. Therefore, the French have no claim to the innocent mark of punctuation and should back off. It's part of our history, if nothing else. And that's good enough for me.
And so, after thoroughly scrutinising all reported sides of the argument, I have - or rather, the child in me has - decided to create a mix - perhaps more than one - dedicated wholly and solely to the necessity that is Punctuation.
NB/ Despite good intentions, finding decent songs with good punctuation is a tough ol' trawl and I got a bit tired, so it only a wee little mix. Do feel free to add suggestions and better the job..

I recently made this mix for a friend who I'd just met of songs I like that he might like. We decided a mix exchange is a good way to start off any kind of relationship. I was musing on posting the one he gave me but I think I'll just leave my choices up for judgment.
Its not the complete 90 minutes but I thought 23 was enough to be getting on with. I found a load of songs to add to the database as well, so I feel like I've contributed a wee bit.
Oh, and he loved it :)

This tape consists of a nowhere-near-comprehensive list of some of the many artists I, and maybe you too, wish could resurrect themselves.
Not in an Evil Dead way.
More in an Eastery way.

Being new to the site I intend to make an introductory piece. I hope that it will serve its purpose in as many ways as possible, but more importantly oh grateful(?) listener, I hope that it instills happiness and perhaps a little warmth into all your fingers and toes (assuming its cold there too, of course.) Or mild recognition at the very least. Also, if you have read the so aptly named "liner notes" then this mix conveniently doubles as a truly heartfelt farewell to my miserable old job.
