I think that maybe we should have a user search option so that we could find more users in our area... for instance maybe, just maybe theres another user from North Carolina [GASP!] and they want to find other users in the south-eastern area.

Search would be nice. Start with a simple substring match then make better later... could keep in header/footer. I could help with a more in-depth search if you guys wanted later.

Searching based on location is trickier, only in that it requires us to find a zipcode analyzing API, or somehow write our own, which is more work than I'd like to do at the moment.
Shortbus is right though, other search methods would be easy to implement, but it is unlikely that will happen until the 2.0 release. (although keep in mind, in another suggestion post, I mentioned that I will make a list of ALL users, mixtapes and artists for the time being until the search is implemented/improved).
