#1 didn't impress me all that much, #4 was pretty sweet and #5 was one of the best hip-hop albums released all year. #7 and #10 were grade-A righteous. I didn't hear the new B&S, but I heard some very unflattering things about from som friends of mine.

I discovered more music in the year of 2006 than in any of my previous years combined. But my top 10 of 2006 would probably have albums from 1995, 1946, 1930, etc. (I'm bad with dates).
