has anyone seen this excellent discovery channel show? it's pretty much the same plot every time: family moves into house, one of them encounters a ghost, someone is skeptical but then realizes GHOSTS ARE REAL, they call a priest/medium/exorcist, they move out.
but the glorious part of the show are the re-enactments by people who look nothing like the real haunt-ees (as in, they are often another race), and are probably the worst actors ever born. it is also the source of the awesome quote, "WHAT CAUSED THIS!?"

Man, I frickin love ghost story shows. One time I watched a marathon while I was alone in the country, and scared myself so bad I had to watch 2 hours of benevolent TV to be able to go to bed.

I think there are (nice) ghosts in my bedroom of my 89 year old house, because my cats always look intensely at random spots on the wall where nothing is happening. Cats can see that shit, you know.

true story: whenever i am alone in a dark house, i reflexively make "ninja signs" with my hands...like a retard. i started doing that in like 6th grade when i was quite into ninjas, to, um...ward off evil? i guess?
it kind of became a habit :/
