I am a long time lurker, and your collective work has given me inspiration to build a new website:

Mixable is a online tool for music enthusiats like you and me to easily and safely share mixtapes among friends. When you create an account, you are given a bit of online storage and tools tailored specifically to making mix tapes. You can upload, tag, arrange tracks and add artwork. The resulting product is a nice zip file reflecting your efforts for your friends to enjoy. The link to download this file is secret and anonymous to keep everything between you and your friends.
If this sounds interesting, I just opened a private beta and am looking for people to try it out.
For what it is worth, this currently is a non-profit venture, and just an idea by another music loving web geek...

I've actually never checked out the forums but I've definitely browsed peoples mix tapes. And I wish I would have made an account earlier because I could have borrowed a lot of interface ideas.
Anyway, I know I am in the borderline spam category, but still I'd love for some of you to check it out. I'm coming to you guys instead of digg or reddit or mashable because I know you will be gentile.

Some of the songs i tried to upload said that there was an error because it wasn't an mp3, even though it was. You might want to check that out as I'm not going to uplaod my mixes with songs missing.
