hated it. i don't know why anyone would think making american pie...but with robots (!) would be a good idea. also...cutting away from OPTIMUS AND MEGATRON FIGHTING TO SHOW A RAGTAG GROUP OF ARMY DORKS GRABBING A MOTORCYCLE TO SHOOT A DECEPTICON IN THE GROIN? also it was a giant commercial for the military, mountain dew, gm, burger king, xbox, etc. not to mention, of course, the transformers. also dry humping on bumblebee? while the rest of the autobots watched? goddamnit, it was the most disappointing movie...maybe even event...of my life. how hard is it to make a movie about robots who exist to fight each other? and when they do, why show it from the most incoherent angles while an enormous, opaque lens flare occupies half the fucking screen? oh yeah...almost forgot...BUMBLEBEE PISSING ON A MAN?!?! WHAT THE HELL. raaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaggggghhhh.

I loved it. Except the part where Bumblebee peed on that guy. I thought that was lame. But the rest of it was awesome and made me love Transformers, even though I never paid attention to it when I was a kid.

I opted to rent Primer again instead of watching Transformers, I've decided it was the Anti-Tranformers in every way. Take in mind I probably would agree with Nathunder if I would of watched it.

thats sad yall. i thought they did a decent job on an already established franchise. and what more did you expect from michael bay? at least he made them look believable!
and re: hatred on them focusing on the kids.. imo it was a great dichotomy from the action and gave more power to the reason the autobots were there in the first place: to preserve humanity at any costs.

if you guys really want to see the transformers doing something cool, watch the old animated movie instead. it is the proverbial shit, featuring voice acting from judd nelson, leonard nimoy, and ORSON WELLES, and a wicked-ass soundtrack ("you got the TOUCH!!!") also, it has rad lines like "i've got better things to do tonight than die"
