This story is a must read. In brief:
Banksy, a graffiti artist from London and Danger Mouse, a producer who's most recent work is being one-half of Gnarls Barkley, recently made 500 doctored copies of Paris Hilton's new CD "The Stars are Blind." From what I've seen, the fake copies had mixes that just included beats and Hilton saying stupid things, and the booklet shows text insulting Hilton and doctored photos showing things like Hilton topless and Hilton with a dog's head for her head.

Yep, with song titles like "Why Am I Famous?" and "What Am I For?"
Here's a link to the hacked artwork, which I'm sure is far better than the original: http://img .photobucket.com/albums/v3 6/allhailme/blogposts/0905 06_parishackedcd.jpg
Sometimes my addiction of celebrity gossip blogs pays off.

The Valentine's Day 2008 Badge
Happy Valentine's day from the MTC staff. We really do love you all. So much so, in fact, that you should probably investigate a temporary restraining order -- we're crazy like that.

I thought the joke here was going to be "from masturbation", but then I realised, Paris is boke.

fucking awesome. Banksy is one of my heroes. He recently snuck a life-size statue of a Gitmo prisoner into disneyland.

I have to say, I get grow less and less fond of Banksy by the minute, he's beginning to become a bit too "arty", something he claimed to have been fighting against in the first place.

Perhaps, but anyone who drops a 'Wild Style' piece on the side of a cow is a-okay by me.

I like that the Space Hijackers "gave out spoof vouchers outside a Banksy exhibition to highlight the artist's hypocritical use of anti-capitalist and protest imagery while doing work for corporations and art galleries."
In fact, reading more abut the Space Hijackers recently has made me wonder if there's a group of that nature in / around Boston...it seems like the sort of thing that would suit that city. If not...well, maybe someone should start one.
Oh snap, humanity. I've gotten the "mischef" itch again.

Yeah, Banksy has just got his head up his arse now, which is a shame, since he is a great artist, and has fantastic ideas, just they're now going to waste.

That sounds appropriate.
But head up his ass or not, the guy painted an elephant pink and gold.
