description:
i recently quit drinking for what i hope will be a considerable amount of time. it's been a little over a week, and i find myself fidgeting, feeling the urge for some chemical change in my body. i made this mix, comprised of songs that give me a similar rush, be it the lyrics, vocals, or instrumentation.

I had to stop drinking or die some time ago. For a while there I was not sure which way to jump, but the living thing has a few things going for it. I was suprized to find that great music is still great music when you are sober but shit music tends to sound a lot more shite than when you are drunk! Excellent mix, despite my hatred for one of the acts. Even their song works in the context of the mix though which is all that counts.
