my two cents on the royals : it's brilliant & amazing because of the subplots & "hidden" action going on. it took me for fucking ever to realize margot was smoking a cig before royal is routed out by henry. little things like that make me watch it at least once a month. it has a history, an entire life behind it because of that.

yeah...I remember a lot of criticism about wes anderson losing his touch that he had with rushmore and bottle rocket...a lot of people thought the movie was stretched too thin across too many characters and subplots.
