$200 for Rufus? Wow, that is a lot. Too bad. :-(
Yes, my friend's name was Eva Balslev. I haven't seen her in over 20 years. (I am old.) I tried to get in touch with her before my high school reunion last year, but I didn't find the right Eva Balslev. I'm not sure why she was in the States. Many of my international friends had parents studying at the Institute for Advanced Study or the Princeton Theological Seminary. (I grew up in Princeton, New Jersey.)
I met a lot of Danes when I traveled to Australia when I was 19. They were cool. :-)

Bea, thanks for the welcome! I wish I could see Rufus Wainwright in concert, too. (Incidentally, one of my high school friends was from Denmark.)

i haven't had enough inspiration to make a mix tape in forever. let alone to do a themed mixtape.
i developed a sickening coke habit and i'm just trying to remember how to breathe again.

Hej! How are you doing? I finally got my new laptop two weeks ago.
I definately like that kind of mellow "not so loud" music I took on the winter tape. But it was also the mood for the theme. There are also some faster or louder songs I like. It depends on my own mood and can change daily. Last week I recorded an extended version of my "Love Story Mix" for another mixtape forum contest. The next one might rather be a "Girls versus Boys" tape with one side just female vocals and the other side only male or it might be a "Colours"-Mix. But I don't know. What about you, did you mix any playlists on the last time?

Your own place. That sounds exciting. Niccccce. Good luck with the saving then.
It's bizarre weather. One day it's really hot and the next it's cold and overcast. Most days it's hot and sunny for a couple of hours and then an awesome storm comes along for a bit and then the sun comes out again. I really love those days. It's like the best of both worlds.
What the weather like over there?

Writing short stories etc. sounds far more interesting than journalism!
You could do both though you know. Journalism might make a good full time job, and you could pursue short story writing in your spare time.
You should take some classes in short story writing at university or college or whatever you're going to.

Will you be available in march, the last two weeks or so? Were thinking about buying plane tickets to copenhagen, we'll probably stay in a hotel, it'd be super neato to meet you and have you give us some insight on denmark and the cool kids scene.

Nah, i'm definately not studying ever again. I don't know how it is where you are, but in australia a degree can get you into a lot of different kinds of jobs. It doesn't really matter what your degree is. They just want to know that you studied. It's silly i know, but it works in my favour. ;)
I don't know what i'm going to do yet excatly, but i have a few ideas. I'm planning on travelling after i graduate. I haven't really thought much about what i'm going to do after that. I don't like to plan too far ahead.
I think it really depends on what type of journalism you're interested in. What are you interested in?
I just don't really want to have anything to do with the media, because i just find them so morally corrupt and dishonest. I don't want to be a part of that.
