Cause I KNOW all y'all are country fans, I thought I'd toss in some of the classics. Not all of them, but some of my favorites. No big suprises or anything. So I know y'all will hate it. ;)
Also, it's not very long, but it's got a lot of songs on it. So I thought I'd stop here, so you guys weren't scrolling for 80 years to get through it.

tracklist

1 Johnny Cash : Folsom Prison Blues
I love this song, but I really love the audience reaction. You know Cash is really getting to their hearts. He's showing them he knows what it's like, he's been there.

Catchy, happy tune about a hobo riding the rails during the depression. It's serious, but silly too, so it'll be my transition between the serious and the silly.

14 David Allen Coe : You Don't Have to Call Me Darlin'
So, I was looking up the album that has this song on it...Holy crap, there are some crazy ass songs on there. I didn't listen, but the names are enough. I think this is probably the least offensive, most normal song on there.

Geez, we are not White Stripes fans here? White Blood Cells is good from start to finish... I've never heard so much variety and song writing talent from a two person band with the lowest quality recording equipment money can't buy! It's good stuff.

dude.. serious. AWESOME. You had my idea for a mix.. I have to say, DAC.. Cash, Nelson heck yes. Dolly Pardon, man. Oh and she is a lesbian. She officially came out of the closet two years ago. No joking.

Haggard, I know him personally. He makes me cry everytime I see him. Love the Hank! Serious, I LOVE old country. I may go ahead and make my older country mix.

Great work.. Trav

The White Stripes dont do anything well, let alone better.

Good mix. You grabbed most of the country songs I actually like. But I have to agree on repeating artists so much.

Dissing country for the sake of dissing country gets old fast. There is good music to be found in the genre, but like many other types, a lot of worthless crap floats at the surface.

As for The White Stripes version... it IS good, but you can't replace Dolly's voice and the true woman's perspective on the song with effing Jack White.

I agree with galaxiepi- repeating artists on a mix is a general no-no, but the songs are good.

You have some decent country tunes on here, I have to admit. Some of it is overplayed in a variety of media, and the repeat of artists (especially the cash>willie>cash>wille series) will dock you down, but I'm still giving this pointage. Plus, I love 'Jolene'.
