TEAM 97 -- Third Place
Long before being knocked up with Eddie Murphy's illegitimate child, Scary Spice was on top of the world. Now, she's nothing but washed up. It's kind of sad, really. Just by scoring third place in this contest, you've got infinitely more street cred than Scary. Congrats!

so i just watched this film for the first time and i cannot forgive myself for not having seen it sooner. robin williams simultaneously delights and terrifies. god, i'm so very behind the times.
also, has anyone taken note of the fact that mr. williams' acting becomes exponentially better (or shall i say, more serious) with the presence of facial hair? no, seriously think about it. bearded robin= dramatic. shaven face robin= funny?
anyone? anyone?

The Halloween 2007 Badge
Happy Halloween 2007! In celebration of this event, here is a recipe to make your very own candy corn:
Combine 1 cup of razor blades, 2 cups of clown tears and 3/4 tablespoon spider eggs in a pan and bring to a boil stirring constantly. Stir occasionally. Remove from heat and add 2 cups hemlock and 3 ounces of fish oil. Stir until cool enough to handle. Shape and distribute.
Trick or treat!

The montage backed by Aerosmith's DUDE LOOKS LIKE A LADY is why I hate Robin Williams.
As far as Bearded vs. Clean, yes, a very astute observation.
The only thing I have enjoyed Robin in in the last million years is Death to Smoochy, which despite what all you haters think, is a genius film.

What else can be said about Mrs. Doubtfire that already hasn't been said. In popular opinion, Mrs. Doubtfire is viewed as one of the funniest FILMS of the early 90's---(Next to Cool Runnings---MY FAV). It's funny because it breaks all of the rules of the conventional Dad Loses kids because he's a eccentric cartoon voice over actor who must fight through a nasty divorce and truimph as a cross dressing nanny who has everybody falling in love with her english shenanigans, while none is the wiser. PLUS+ Look at the names on paper, two of the funniest people in the world team up to crate laugh riots---Sally Field, and Pierce Brosnononnan---Dramatic Actor Robin Williams shocks the world with his unexpected portral of the british nanny played by Daniel Hillard played by Billy williams. If you haven't seen this comedy gem, get off the couch and drive to your local movie theater, grab some corn and enjoy. This is the type of movie they show in heaven (24-7), I give this Film Ten buttholes out of Ten. TRIMSPA BABY.

I've hated the films of Mr. Williams since Patch Adams. With one exception Insomnia and only because he is so natural as a creep.
Poor San Francisco: he adopted a mile of HWY 101 and can often be seen collecting crushed Tecate cans and pets.com stock certificates near Candlestick Park (which is now called something dumb like Your Corporate Logo Here Stadium).

Watch The Fisher King, that's a good movie. And wasn't Good Will Hunting made before Patch Adams? If you don't like Good Will Hunting, I don't know if I can respect any other cinematic judgments you might make.
