This mixtape is basically about the stages we move through when we lose someone important to us by death or by choice: denial, grief, anger, and acceptance.
I came up with the idea for it because lately I've been dealing with the loss of a best friend (she wanted out of the friendship) and I thought a mixtape would be a therapeutic way of dealing with it. I hope it does the same for you.

I recently lost a best friend, too... She was kind of getting jealous because I was getting really close to someone else and couldn't talk to her as often (she goes to college in NJ and I live in California).
She hadn't been a very good friend though, so I wasn't too sad to see the friendship end -- I was going through some really bad stuff and all she could do was judge me and cry about her own problems without giving a rats ass about mine.
Anyways... I like the mix :P
