Through finding out more about Black Mountain, I have been listening to The Pink Mountaintops. TPM covers Joy Division's "Atmosphere", but to me it sounded like The Velvet Underground were covering it. That was the genesis of this mix. These tracks are Velvet Underground covers, 2008 favorites and new to me favorites.
This mix, and my 2008 recap mix, are going out to Sgt. Howie through the FTOTZ mix exchange. Diane Court will be receiving what I send Sgt. Howie, as an EC exchange.
I tried my hand at the graphic style used on VH1's 100 Greatest Hip Hop Songs countdown. Not too busy. That bottom font, Vtks Revolt, was found at http://www.fontspace .com/vtks-design/vtks-revolt
