I can't believe I am the only one (so far) to have used this to open thier mix for the contest. I mean, it has lots of samples of people saying "Wake Up" over this amazing piano ran through some delay. Seriously, this makes me shiver all over every time, I can't think of a better way to start this tape off. It builds up perfectly (easing you into the morning) and then if you still havn't got up, it gets all classic Kate Bush: semi-prog 80s-ness. Wonderful SHOW LESS

Ok so now you're finally up (you lazy bastard), we need a song for the shower. Something to sing along to. Did you know that it is true that people sound best when they sing in the shower? It's the acoustics of a shower cubicle, and something about the water dampening reverb. Recording booths for vocals are small for the same reason. Anyway, I basically can't sing atall and don't even try, no matter i nobody could hear me, I'm totally ashamed of my voice. It's probably not as bad as Yoni Wolf's though, even though I love his. That's why I picked one of his songs, it makes me feel better and I can imitate that sort of half-singing, half-rapping thing he does. Really great tune aswell, I can't not sing/rap/mouth along to the whole "We wore..." part. SHOW LESS

I like most songs by Rainer Maria alot, their most recent album made me sad. So did thier choose to split, because I missed seeing them live (they played on my birthday too! ]':). This song is particularly awesome for singing along to though, who can deny themselves the guilty pleasure of joining in the "ooh-ooh" bit towards the end. Joyus. SHOW LESS

I also love the fact this song has a sort of faux-electro beat thing going on but at the same time has all this awesome glitch and like funk/jazz beats at other points.
