it's been a while since I last went record rummaging. Today I went with the ladyfriend to a neat little hole-in-the-wall somewhere in San Francisco, the kind of place that sells Laserdiscs and 20 baseball Cards for a dollar. right Now I'm listening to an original Bob Dylan bootleg from the 1960s, and thinking about the Uselessness of correct capitalization. these selections are from the records/cassettes I bought Today.
the Artwork was an x-Ray of some rats, or guinea pigs, but I guess the answer is "wait for 2.0," right?

Track Description:
another misconception - first, I thought it was a compilation tape of some like Forgotten old-school rap songs, which it wasn't, and then I thought at least it was from '82, which it wasn't either. three Fools named Don Nots, Mr. Law and Rahazii Hi Power put out this work of musical genius in '92, as noted by a Color Me Badd reference. you heard Me. Length: 00:02:35 Year: 1949 |

Track Description:
this isn't 00:02:35, but I'm not sure how long it is and I'm planning on making this mix check in at a clean 15 Minutes. listen to the crazy Instrumentation on this (a direct quote from the back of the LP): "6 Grand Pianos, also to be played with hammers and plectra, possibly by two players ... 4 Harps, 9 String Basses, 6 Flutes (also Piccolos), 6 Oboes (also 3 English Horns), 6 Trumpets (with mutes), 7-8 Timpani ... 1 set of Stone Slabs ... 2-3 Xylophones, 2 (1) Trog-Xylophones (Soprano) ... 1 small Wood Drum, 1 large African Wood Drum (with a slot), 2 Bells ... 3 Glockenspiels ... 4 pairs of Zimbeln, 3 Turkish Cymbals, 3 [additional] pairs of Turkish Cymbals, 1 small Anvil, 3 Triangles, 2 Bass Drums, 6 Tambourines, 6 Castanets ... 10 large Javanese Gong-Chimes ...." not kidding you, this is intense. Track Description:
like I said - unaware of the track length, but 15 Minutes seems reasonable for a miniMix. This is sloppy and lo-fi and everything I love about Music. oh, and I bought the soundtrack of Bye Bye Birdie for my sister, but that's not for me so it doesn't count. total trip cost: $27 (including BBB). i'm done. good Night.
