I read an interview with Brian Wilson, in the recent Uncut, that he felt that he has never matched "Good Vibrations" with anything he has written since. He said (in his own words) that he has come to terms with that fact, and I was partly inspired and saddened when I read that. It is still fresh on my mind, so I had to regurgitate it here.
