description:
This is a collection of songs that my friends and I were all into during Junior High. If you'll notice, it was a sad state of affairs. That is what happens when one grows up in a town of about 1700 people. I was surrounded by Lynard Skynard, Metallica, AC/DC, and country, so I did all I could to avoid that (still do!). That is my attempt to justify this mix.

Track 2 from Gravity Kills
Length: 00:04:02
Year: 1996
Track Description:
One of my really good friends and I were on a camping trip with his family, and we were listening to the boombox in the back of the minivan while we were driving to/from our camping location. I would sit with the volume control firmly in reach so that any time a cuss-word came on I could turn the volume down real quick to "bleep" it out. I'm pretty sure we were listening to this album at the time, trying to annoy his parents.

Will Smith was so wholesome. He could rap about aliens and partying like it's 1999 as opposed to bitches and hos and poppin' off a mofucker.

So friendly. I'd be his friend.

Goddammit, I was going to do a shitty nostalgia mix!
Definite kudos for some of these though... although I think I was raised on the non-explicit version of that Coolio song, because I remember that lyric being "if you got beef then... eat a pork chop!"
Also, wasn't that 'Hey Man, Nice Shot' song about someone else? And Eric, weren't you the one who originally told me that?
