description:
this mix is dedicated to the pirates, conquistadores, and explorers of love, youthful and bloodthirsty. not the love of a happily married couple, but the love of bouys and gulls, naive and seasick, with a lot to learn but never to understand.
just for fun, i'm gonna let the girls and guys tell it separately, ladies first. and for the sake of balance, i'll throw the duets in the middle.
i picked each of these songs like a preschooler picks a pumpkin. and with mudded palms and fingers i'd like to hand it off to the community for smashing on my porch, depending on what kind of neighborhood this is.

word. the food pyramid is hideously miseducational. for instance, the emphasis on dairy intake is only partially relevant as lactase production continues into adulthood primarily for western european descendants. be healthy is probably my favorite song on that album, but this is a love mix.
dead prez do preach a lot, and i disagree with a lot of it, but they have depth, power, and delivery, and they derive a lot from their musical environment without reservation...qualities i respect in an rap duo.
