description:
this was really overwhelming to make. the first draft i made of this was three hours and twenty minutes. the next cut got it down to two and a half hours. i had to painfully cut great song after great song until i got it down to this. so unfortunately, this is somewhat incomplete, but i hope it still makes some sense. it's sort of silly, a little serious, kinda fun. i mean honestly, if all art forms have been destroyed, i think any song that someone would hear would be wonderful. so here's my time-capsule, all-encompassing, mix of the future.
and since i thought i could make a ninety minute mix, but can't, tracks that DID make the cut but had to be scrapped at the last minute were as follows:
gnarls barkley-crazy
paul mccartney & wings- nineteen hundred and eighty five
the who- baba o'reilly
led zeppelin-immigrant song
if anyone would like to see the original 24 song mix in its entirety, feel free to let me know, i would be happy to send it to you.
