Songs on the whole remind me of things a lot of the time. Sometimes they don't because they're that special that they can completelt exist on their own without the help of my life, but most of the time they do bring back a twinge of some sort of memory.

Growing up and growing apart are often so connected. My friend from childhood comes to mind when I hear this song because it's one of the last songs we bonded over. I was there for him when we skated, when we did plays, when he ran star, when we built forts, when he got popular, when he became prom king, when he came out of the closet. But all of those things never kept us together. And now I hate him. I saw him the other day for the first time in almost 2 years and we didn't even say hello. SHOW LESS

I guess for someone who isn't an internet/computer addict, this memory isn't that bad...but this reminds me of a fanflick I once made in my Harry Potter extremist days. Therefore, it also reminds me of the great computer implosion of 2005 when I lost everything from 4 years previous. It was totally devastating because when you sit down and look at things that have been saved on your computer it's like reliving those moments a little bit. Since I have amnesia, it's something which I actually do value a lot because I can't really do it within my own head. So basically, this reminds me of everything I lost in that implosion. SHOW LESS

There's this town that I love going to for no real reason. I've always liked it there and even though there's not much to do there, I always just feel like I should go there. Anyway, once when I was there my cousin told me about how her music teacher's brother had committed suicide. It wasn't that I'd never dealt with death or suicide or anything, it was something about the specific situation which really got to me. I actually ended up attending that high school for summer school a few years later and had completely forgotten about that until one day I went for the classic go-to-the-bathroom-to-escape routine and saw a memorial thing dedicated to him. I was listening to this song at the time and it, for some reason, just devistated me and I have no idea why. SHOW LESS

I had a situation with someone where this not only happened, but it also drove him to insanity no matter how well I tried to handle it. I don't think I have ever met a more selfish person in my entire life, and it's horrifying because he happens to think he's quite reasonable. I am not at peace with this person because it's one of those things where he's still friends with my friends even though he classifies me with death and the appocolypse. This is the song he said reminded him of me..."I would go anywhere for you, I would bite off more than I could chew for you..." And I guess that includes stalking. SHOW LESS
