I just yelled at my dogs for tearing at the rug, but then I thought: hey, maybe that's just what they're in to.
I guess what I'm saying is make your mixtape what it has to be, not what others want it to be. F them; it's your mix.
We in the U.S. live our lives like a page of lined paper. We travel through life learning things -- each recorded upon its own line, parallel to all others, upon which other things are recorded. Our lives stay within the lines with impeccable penmanship. These thoughts would remain upon their own line -- indefinitely --, if it were not for certain events in life that shake the page: allowing those lines to come close enough to contact another line. In this way ideas are formed. These events may have nothing to do with the thoughts that kiss as their lines continue on toward infinity. The event may be: a word, a book, or a punch to the face: but a sharp mental jarring is necessary to intertwine the lines of code.

For some time I've been fascinated by Wales. Yet I've only seen it at night, on British Rail, speeding to Fishguard. I've read a couple of books by Niall Griffiths set in Aberystwyth and Northern Wales. It seems like a great place. Though the language does seem a bit impenetrable, I'd give it a shot, if given the chance.

Everyone has a roadtrip mixtape. Here is the one I made for the trip down to ParYen's and MrsJHo's party.
I hopped in the MINI Cooper and peeled off to the French bakery for my pain au chocolat, and a desert tort for the party. I was late. Two hours to drive; one hour to get there. The MINI was up to the challenge, but only with the help of a good mixtape.

The other thing I find weird is that they've only been on the island for 3 months, it feels like 100 years! What do you think about that traveler show? Thank you very much sir. What's stopping you from going to Vietnam. Apart from airfares it's probably the most affordable place on earth. Hell, you've probaby got enough cash to retire there now. Food is tasty, everywhere and cheap, and accomodation is about $3 a night. I highly reccomend it. It's such a beautiful country, if you go, make sure you get into the really rural areas to see some amazing things.

Glitter first got into trouble in England when he put his computer in to PC World to be serviced, and the tech guys there found kiddie porn on it. Not only a paedophile, but an inept one at that. I did agonise over putting him on the mix, but completist that I am, I did. I had a cousin in the 70s who used to get his mother to make him costumes like Gary Glitter. I was thinking about a Clapton - DYlan link. Clapton did an album in the early 80s called Backless. Dylan wrote the first song on the first side. Can't think of what it was called, but I am sure Dylan sang on it as well. I was at The Blackbushe Festival in England in 78, and Claton was second on the bill to Dylan and they did play together. I have to admit that i hate ginger. When i was a kid i used to get really really car sick. I am talking 10 minute trips would make me chuck. So my parents got me these herbal drops to try and help me. They happened to have a large amount of ginger in them (??), so now when i taste anything ginger it remings me of being violently ill. This is really the main reason why I hate working at night! No Lost! I have ordered all my friends to not mention anything to me of new episodes until I watch it.
I'm not sure how I feel about the new structure-- I wish they could just make a full season and not have to pad it with something else, but I guess if they do it this way at least you're not always having to guess if it's a new episode or not, and they said they would be fairly self-contained episode chunks, which is good.

I love the Guiness Toucan that you have! When I was a small kid many moons ago, my parents would take me to Brighton, a seaside town about sixty miles from where we lived. Down by the beach, they had this animated clock made by Guiness, and on the hour, the Guinness Toucan would appear and lots of parts moved, and it played music. (The advertising jingle was something like "Can you do what a toucan do" or something like that. A crowd would gather to see this thing all the time. One year we went down there and it was gone, and I was pretty upset at the time!

I thought that once you found a publisher your troubles were over, but in many ways, that is when they really begin. That was my experience with the non-fiction book I got published anyway. I did learn a few things which I hope will help me with the novel. I have two non-fiction works planned for next year, one of which has a publisher lined up. Good luck with your project.

here in the east village there is a "dog park," which is basically a fenced-in space for dogs to run around and play together. they have the "big dog area" and the "little dog area." needless to say, its an fantastic place to waste and hour or four of your day.

"French Fries" is, to the best of my knowledge, is an American term. It's "hot chips" all the way here. I personally prefer mayonaise on my chips. Dont go upseting Taiwan now by saying China has all the exports... they are very compeditive you know.

That book is forever under my bed, next to my bed, or serving as a coaster. It's definitely the best of the high school reads, even better than 1984, which is kind of overrated sometimes. I think.
